Safety stickers and data protection foils can always be removed and re-used when forgers use the appropriate solvent, heating or cooling. Unfortunately, there is no single-component glue which excludes removal without damage by using the above methods. Self-adhesive polyurethane foil with a thickness of about 8 microns provides a solution for this. Even if the glue layer is removed, the foil is so thin that it cannot be separated without damage from the surface to be protected. Completed with various kinds of security features, they are suitable for use in passports, visas or other safety documents of category A.
